Insurance Receivable Specialist

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an Insurance Receivable Specialist to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong communication and customer service skills to join our Accounts Receivable team. This role is responsible for collecting past due and overdue insurance payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments, and developing positive relationships with insurance companies. The successful candidate should have experience with insurance receivables, accounts receivable, and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor insurance receivables and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments.
2. Follow up with insurance companies regarding past due and overdue payments.
3. Resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable.
4. Develop and maintain positive relationships with insurance companies.
5. Monitor and track insurance receivables.
6. Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance companies.
7. Communicate with insurance companies regarding policies, procedures, and payment status.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payments and transactions.
9. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports.
10. Participate in meetings and training sessions.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
