We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Oncologist to join our Neuroblastoma Service team.   1. Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients with neuroblastoma, in collaboration with the rest of the Neuroblastoma Service team.
  2. Conduct thorough medical evaluations and diagnose patients with neuroblastoma, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their unique medical needs and circumstances.
  4. Monitor and track patient progress throughout the course of treatment, making necessary adjustments as needed.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with education and support throughout the treatment process.
  6. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  7. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in pediatric oncology, and incorporate new knowledge into treatment plans.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment strategies.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards for patient care.
  11. Attend and present at conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities related to pediatric oncology.
  12. Contribute to ongoing research and clinical trials related to neuroblastoma and pediatric oncology.
  13. Serve as a mentor to medical students, residents, and fellows, sharing expertise and knowledge in the field of pediatric oncology.
  14. Collaborate with the hospital's marketing and outreach teams to raise awareness and promote the services of the Neuroblastoma Service.
  15. Uphold the mission, values, and reputation of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, representing the institution with professionalism and compassion at all times.

  • Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Pediatric Oncologist - Neuroblastoma Service At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Must Have A Medical Degree From A Reputable And Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have Received Proper Training And Education In The Field Of Pediatric Oncology.

  • Residency And Fellowship Training In Pediatric Hematology/Oncology: In Addition To A Medical Degree, Candidates For This Position Should Have Completed A Residency In Pediatrics And A Fellowship In Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. This Specialized Training Prepares Them To Work Specifically With Children And Adolescents With Cancer, Including Neuroblastoma.
