- Conduct simulation and optimization studies to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Utilize advanced simulation software and tools to model and analyze manufacturing processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in simulation and optimization techniques.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for process changes to management.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate simulation results and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of simulation studies and processes.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on simulation techniques and tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to present findings and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and select new manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all simulation and optimization activities.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate simulation models to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices for manufacturing processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Process Simulation, Preferably In Automotive Manufacturing
Proficiency In Simulation Software Such As Siemens Plm Nx Or Catia
Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes And Systems, Including Cad/Cam, Cnc Machining, And Assembly
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data And Make Recommendations For Process Improvement.
