  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of clinical safety and risk management for Merck & Co. products.
  2. Develop and implement safety strategies and risk management plans for new and existing products.
  3. Conduct thorough reviews of clinical trial data and adverse event reports to identify potential safety concerns.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs and regulatory affairs, to assess and manage product safety.
  5. Serve as the primary medical expert on safety and risk management for assigned products.
  6. Provide medical input and guidance for safety-related documents, such as clinical study protocols, investigator brochures, and safety reports.
  7. Effectively communicate safety information to internal teams, external partners, and regulatory agencies.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to clinical safety and risk management.
  9. Lead or participate in safety review meetings and committees.
  10. Proactively identify potential safety issues and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  11. Collaborate with the pharmacovigilance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse events.
  12. Participate in the development and review of educational materials and training programs related to product safety.
  13. Mentor and provide guidance for junior team members.
  14. Represent Merck & Co. at conferences and meetings related to clinical safety and risk management.
  15. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Clinical Safety And Risk Management Physician At Merck & Co. Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Relevant Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Safety And Risk Management, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.
