Job Description

Merck & Co. is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Sales Intern to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the medical sales field while working with a global leader in healthcare. The successful intern will be part of our sales team, helping to promote our products and services to healthcare professionals.The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and knowledge of medical sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for customer service. A degree in a relevant field, such as healthcare, business, or marketing, is preferred. Previous experience in sales or marketing is also beneficial.We are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude who is eager to learn and develop their skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to promote Merck & Co.'s products and services to healthcare professionals.
  2. Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with healthcare professionals.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and develop a thorough understanding of customer needs.
  5. Participate in product demonstrations and presentations.
  6. Track and measure sales performance and other key metrics.
  7. Analyze customer feedback to continuously improve sales techniques and strategies.
  8. Participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations on sales activities and results.
