
Auto Claims Examiner
Negotiates, settles, and authorizes payment for complex injury claims with both legal counsel for represented claimants and unrepresented parties. Investigates and analyzes extensive records, including medical records and law enforcement reports, and conducts witness interviews to determine claim value and set/maintain reserves, which includes evaluating liability, venue, quality of opposing counsel, legal risk, anticipated expenses, and other factors that incumbent identifies as impacting claim value. Researches and timely responds to customer inquiries and/or concerns throughout the life of a claim to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling moderately to highly complex claims
