1. Provide direct patient care: The LPN will be responsible for administering medications, performing various treatments, and assisting with procedures as directed by the medical team.
2. Support patients and families: The LPN will serve as a source of support and comfort for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and providing education about their condition and treatment options.
3. Monitor patient progress: The LPN will monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The LPN will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
5. Maintain accurate records: The LPN will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, including medical history, treatments, and medications, in accordance with established protocols.

8. Assist in procedures: The LPN will assist with various procedures, including biopsies, lumbar punctures, and bone marrow aspirations, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for the patient.
9. Maintain a clean and safe environment: The LPN will maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and stored, and follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness.
10. Continuously improve skills and knowledge: The LPN will participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge in the field of oncology nursing.
