The successful candidate will have a dependable and professional attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) must possess a valid state certification as an EMT and have a minimum of one year of experience in an acute care setting. The individual should also have knowledge of medical terminology, basic life support (BLS) certification, and a valid driver's license. Responsibilities:

1. Provide proficient and quality emergency medical care to patients.
2. Assess patient condition and determine the appropriate course of action for treatment.
3. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
4. Communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
5. Operate equipment and vehicles safely and effectively.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Follow established safety protocols and procedures.
8. Participate in continuing medical education and training courses.
9. Provide patient education and support.
