Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

If you are an experienced EMT looking to make an impact, we want to hear from you!Required Qualifications:• Valid Emergency Medical Technician certification• Proven experience as an EMT in an emergency medical setting• Ability to assess medical situations quickly and accurately• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to emergency medical care• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to emergency medical calls and provide appropriate medical care to patients.
2. Assess the medical condition of patients and provide medical treatment within the scope of practice for an EMT.
3. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during transport to medical facilities.
4. Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments provided.
6. Maintain medical equipment and ensure it is in proper working order.
7. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to emergency medical care.
8. Remain up to date on best practices and industry developments.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality care to patients.
10. Act as a mentor to new or less experienced EMTs.
