Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

At Mercy, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are essential members of our healthcare team. We’re looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an EMT. In this role, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and efficient medical care to patients in a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in an Emergency Medical Technician role and hold a current EMT certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). You must also possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.We are looking for an EMT who has a passion for providing excellent patient care and is able to remain calm under pressure. Responsibilities:

1. Provide compassionate and efficient medical care to patients in a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations.
2. Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform other medical procedures as needed.
3. Maintain patient records, including medical histories and documents of care provided.
4. Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
5. Utilize medical equipment and supplies to assist with patient care.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
7. Follow established protocols and procedures for patient care.
8. Maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a background check.
9. Remain current on the latest medical techniques and protocols.
10. Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate patient care.
