  1. Maintain and troubleshoot all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
  3. Respond promptly to any facility system emergencies and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
  4. Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs and upgrades to facility systems.
  5. Implement and adhere to maintenance schedules and protocols to prolong the life of facility systems.
  6. Monitor energy usage and identify ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  7. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on facility systems.
  8. Stay up to date on industry advancements and best practices for facility system maintenance and operation.
  9. Collaborate with other departments to ensure facility systems meet their specific needs and requirements.
  10. Maintain a safe and clean work environment while performing maintenance and repairs on facility systems.
  11. Communicate effectively with management and staff about any potential or existing issues with facility systems.
  12. Provide training and guidance to other staff members on proper use and maintenance of facility systems.
  13. Maintain inventory of necessary tools and equipment for facility system maintenance and repair.
  14. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing duties.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Building Systems: A Facility Systems Technician At Mercy Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Building Systems Such As Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Fire Safety Systems.

  • Technical Skills: This Role Requires Strong Technical Skills To Troubleshoot And Repair Complex Facility Systems. Candidates Should Be Proficient In Reading Blueprints, Using Diagnostic Tools, And Following Technical Manuals.

  • Experience With Building Maintenance: Previous Experience In Building Maintenance Is A Must For This Role. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Routine Maintenance Tasks Such As Changing Filters, Replacing Light Bulbs, And Performing Basic Repairs.
