
Facility Systems Technician

- Respond promptly to any facility system emergencies and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for repairs and upgrades to facility systems.
- Implement and adhere to maintenance schedules and protocols to prolong the life of facility systems.
- Monitor energy usage and identify ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on facility systems.
- Stay up to date on industry advancements and best practices for facility system maintenance and operation.

Knowledge Of Building Systems: A Facility Systems Technician At Mercy Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Building Systems Such As Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing, And Fire Safety Systems.
Technical Skills: This Role Requires Strong Technical Skills To Troubleshoot And Repair Complex Facility Systems. Candidates Should Be Proficient In Reading Blueprints, Using Diagnostic Tools, And Following Technical Manuals.
Experience With Building Maintenance: Previous Experience In Building Maintenance Is A Must For This Role. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Routine Maintenance Tasks Such As Changing Filters, Replacing Light Bulbs, And Performing Basic Repairs.
Attention To Detail: Facility Systems Can Be Complex And Even Small Errors Can Have Significant Consequences. Therefore, A Facility Systems Technician At Mercy Must Have A Keen Attention To Detail To Ensure All Systems Are Functioning Properly And Safely.
