Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and admitting patients to our facility with utmost care and professionalism.   1. Greet and welcome patients and their families upon arrival to the facility with warmth and compassion.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families during the admissions process.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history and current condition to determine appropriate admission procedures.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate and timely care for patients.
  7. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the admissions process, facility policies and procedures, and available resources.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided to patients during the admissions process and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  9. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and facility policies related to admissions and patient privacy.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and developments in the field of nursing and admissions.
  11. Serve as a positive and professional representative of the facility, promoting its mission and values to patients, families, and the community.
  12. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence in healthcare among all members of the admissions team.
  13. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline the admissions process to enhance the overall patient experience.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by the facility leadership to support the overall operations and goals of the facility.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Lpn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Current Lpn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Experience In Admissions: Previous Experience In Admissions, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Is Required For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Including Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As The Lpn Will Be Interacting With Patients And Their Families, As Well As Other Healthcare Professionals, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential.

  • Attention To Detail: The Candidate Must Have Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Thorough Documentation Of Patient Information And Admissions Processes.
