Medical Laboratory Technologist

They will provide accurate test results to physicians and other healthcare providers in an efficient and timely manner.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field. They will have at least three years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting and be certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). They should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities of a Medical Laboratory Technologist:

1. Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
2. Provide accurate test results to physicians and other healthcare providers in an efficient and timely manner.
3. Maintain a current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).

6. Monitor and ensure the accuracy of laboratory test results.

9. Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
10. Assess laboratory quality control procedures and make recommendations for improvement.
