
Medical Receptionist
Are you a detail-oriented and friendly medical receptionist looking to join an experienced and dedicated team? Mercy is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service and administrative support to the medical staff, patients, and visitors. To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience as a medical receptionist, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. You should be highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors upon arrival and provide information and assistance as required.
- Answer incoming calls and route to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule patient appointments and follow up on rescheduling/cancellations.
- Collect, process, and update patient information in the medical database.
- Collect co-payments and other payments from patients.
- Ensure all forms are filled out correctly and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Answer any questions patients or visitors may have.
- Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
