- Assist nursing staff in carrying out daily tasks and procedures, such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic nursing procedures.
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting any changes in condition or treatment.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and report any changes or concerns in patient status to the nursing team.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the Mercy organization and mission.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Completion Of A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program Or Enrollment In A Nursing Program.
Current Bls Certification.
Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Basic Patient Care Procedures.
