As a Nurse Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our nursing staff in providing quality care to our patients.   1. Assist nursing staff in carrying out daily tasks and procedures, such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic nursing procedures.
  2. Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting any changes in condition or treatment.
  4. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Monitor and report any changes or concerns in patient status to the nursing team.
  6. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
  7. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
  8. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
  10. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the Mercy organization and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Completion Of A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Program Or Enrollment In A Nursing Program.

  • Current Bls Certification.

  • Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Basic Patient Care Procedures.
