Job Description

Mercy is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and help us continue to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients reach their full potential and possess the required qualifications to provide a comprehensive Occupational Therapy program. We are seeking a professional with a compassionate and supportive attitude who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our patients. This position requires a valid license as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with the State of Missouri. Additionally, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with individuals of all ages. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized Occupational Therapy programs that are tailored to the needs of each patient.
  2. Provide comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify the patient's current abilities and limitations.
  3. Monitor patient progress and evaluate effectiveness of therapy plans.
  4. Establish goals and objectives to help patients reach their full potential.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient wellbeing.
  6. Educate patients and their families on the importance of Occupational Therapy and how it can help them achieve their goals.
  7. Maintain a valid license as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with the State of Missouri.
  8. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  9. Utilize excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
  10. Remain current on new developments in the field of Occupational Therapy.
