Mercy is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and help us continue to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized Occupational Therapy programs that are tailored to the needs of each patient.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify the patient's current abilities and limitations.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate effectiveness of therapy plans.
- Establish goals and objectives to help patients reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient wellbeing.
- Educate patients and their families on the importance of Occupational Therapy and how it can help them achieve their goals.
- Maintain a valid license as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with the State of Missouri.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with patients and their families.
- Remain current on new developments in the field of Occupational Therapy.
