Job Description

Mercy is looking for a highly organized and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure that patient care is delivered in a safe and timely manner. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision. In addition, they must have a current certification as a nursing assistant and prior experience in a clinical setting. Candidates should also be highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure that patient care is delivered in a safe and timely manner.
  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients and their families.
  3. Monitor and assess patient health and assist with the implementation of medical treatments.
  4. Maintain patient records and prepare reports as required.
  5. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  7. Provide education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance, treatment, and medication.
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  9. Participate in team meetings and provide feedback and recommendations.
  10. Update patient records in an accurate and timely manner.
