  1. Implement and maintain patient safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Conduct regular audits to identify potential risks and areas for improvement in patient safety.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to develop and implement strategies for preventing medical errors and improving patient safety.
  4. Educate and train staff on patient safety practices and protocols.
  5. Investigate and report any incidents or near-misses related to patient safety.
  6. Monitor and analyze data related to patient safety, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in regulations related to patient safety.
  8. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and promote a culture of patient safety.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committees to promote patient safety.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure patient safety is integrated into all aspects of healthcare delivery.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations to stay informed on best practices and industry advancements in patient safety.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff to promote a culture of safety and transparency.
  13. Serve as a resource for staff on patient safety-related issues.
  14. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all patient safety activities.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve patient safety processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient safety is maintained.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Healthcare Quality Improvement Or Patient Safety.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Best Practices Related To Patient Safety, Including Joint Commission Standards.

  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Evaluate Potential Risks And Develop Effective Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Effectively Train And Educate Staff On Patient Safety Protocols.
