
Patient Services Representative - OBGYN

- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to patients' needs and concerns, and addressing them promptly and effectively.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient schedules in an efficient and organized manner.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on OBGYN procedures, treatments, and services offered by the facility.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient coordination of care.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and issues with empathy and professionalism, escalating to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Keep track of office supplies and equipment, ordering and restocking as needed.
- Attend training and meetings to stay informed on new procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
- Work collaboratively with other Patient Services Representatives to ensure consistent and high-quality patient care.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction by soliciting feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Ob/Gyn.
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Insurance And Billing Processes.
Ability To Maintain Patient Confidentiality And Adhere To Hipaa Regulations.
