Job Description

Mercy is currently seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our amazing team here at Mercy. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from our patients in a professional and compassionate manner. We are looking for a professional individual with a great attitude and the ability to handle a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the medical field, preferably in phlebotomy. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of the proper techniques for collecting and processing blood samples. The Phlebotomist must be patient-focused, organized, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This position requires an individual who is willing to be flexible with their hours and accommodate the needs of our patients. Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens from patients in a professional and compassionate manner • Adhere to proper techniques for collecting and processing blood samples • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail • Ensure patient confidentiality and safety at all times • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Work collaboratively with other medical staff to ensure patient care and satisfaction • Keep accurate records of all blood samples collected • Be flexible with working hours and accommodate patient needs • Remain up to date with the latest developments in the medical field
