  1. Assist radiologists and technicians in performing radiology procedures and exams.
  2. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  3. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
  4. Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  5. Prepare and maintain patient records and documentation.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient and timely patient care.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
  8. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  10. Remain up-to-date on advancements and changes in radiology technology and procedures.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  13. Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and completing paperwork.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Radiology: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Radiology Or A Related Field Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Radiology Principles And Techniques.

  • Certification: The Candidate Should Hold Relevant Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or Equivalent. This Certification Demonstrates Proficiency In Radiology And Ensures That The Candidate Is Up To Date With Current Practices.

  • Experience: Ideally, The Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In A Radiology Department. This Experience Should Include Working With Various Radiology Equipment, Performing Diagnostic Imaging Procedures, And Assisting Radiologists In Patient Care.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Radiology Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Radiologists, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Essential To Effectively Communicate With All Parties Involved.

  • Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Precise Imaging Results. This Includes Being Able To Properly Position Patients, Adjust Equipment Settings, And Accurately Record Patient Information. Attention To Detail Is Critical In Delivering High-Quality Patient Care.
