- Assess and evaluate patients with acute and chronic wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide wound care treatments, including cleaning, dressing changes, and wound measurements, according to established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for wound care patients.
- Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all wound care interventions and patient outcomes.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in wound care and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Advocate for patients and their needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for wound care procedures.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to wound care.
- Maintain professional development and stay current on all required certifications and licensure.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care Nursing.
Certification In Wound Care, Such As Wound Care Certified (Wcc) Or Certified Wound Specialist (Cws).
Excellent Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Individualized Wound Care Plans.
