- Analyze medical records and coding data to identify opportunities for accurate and complete documentation.
- Educate and train healthcare providers on coding and documentation best practices.
- Stay current on coding and reimbursement guidelines and communicate changes to healthcare providers.
- Mentor and guide team members in clinical documentation improvement strategies.
- Develop and implement processes to improve clinical documentation accuracy and completeness.
- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on clinical documentation improvement metrics.

Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (Ccds) Or Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs) Certification
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Healthcare-Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Documentation Improvement
Expertise In Icd-10 Coding And Drg Assignment
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Documentation Discrepancies And Coding Errors
