
Specialty LPN - Neurology

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable LPN who is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients with neurological conditions. - Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including but not limited to assessing, monitoring, and managing their symptoms and treatments.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans based on individual needs and treatment goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to medication safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and potential side effects.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and behavioral changes, to physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments, such as lumbar punctures and electroencephalograms, and provide support and comfort to patients during these procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical documentation, following HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in neurology nursing to provide the highest quality of care to patients.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
Current Lpn Licensure In The State Of Employment
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Neurology Setting
Knowledge And Understanding Of Neurological Disorders And Treatments
Ability To Administer Medications And Treatments Specific To Neurology Patients
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Physicians, Patients, And Other Healthcare Team Members.
