Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality patient care in the respiratory therapy department, including pulmonary diagnostics, treatments, and follow-up care.
2. Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments and medications, such as oxygen therapy, nebulizers, and aerosol drugs.
3. Maintain accurate patient records, including documenting treatments and patient outcomes.
4. Educate patients and family members about pulmonary care, respiratory therapy treatments, and other related topics.
5. Assist physicians in performing tests, such as pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
7. Maintain a safe and clean environment in the respiratory therapy department.
8. Operate and maintain respiratory equipment.
9. Monitor and maintain patient vitals during respiratory therapy treatments.
10. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
