Environmental Services Associate

MercyOne is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Environmental Services Associate to join our team and help create a safe and clean hospital environment for patients, visitors, and our staff. Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional excellence.The Environmental Services Associate will be responsible for providing cleanliness, maintenance and other environmental services to the public and staff areas of the hospital. This position requires an individual who is organized, self-motivated, and has an eye for detail. Responsibilites:

1. Clean and maintain public and staff areas of the hospital, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
2. Follow established safety regulations and use protective equipment as needed.
3. Read and understand instructions for cleaning products, equipment, and procedures.
4. Lift up to 25 pounds when necessary.
5. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
6. Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
7. Assist with other duties as assigned.
8. Work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
