
HR Partner, Colleague Relations
MercyOne is looking for an experienced HR Partner to join our Colleague Relations team and help ensure a positive work environment for our valued colleagues. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of HR best practices, excellent people skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders. The HR Partner will be a strategic and proactive partner, supporting the organization’s overall objectives and providing guidance to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and five years of HR experience. You must be skilled in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management. You must also be organized and able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. An understanding of employment law is essential, as is the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a timely manner. Finally, you must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Lead and provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Resolve employee issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain employee records and keep them up to date.
- Monitor and provide advice on best HR practices.
- Stay current on employment law, legislation, and regulations.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Think critically and make sound decisions in a timely manner.
- Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on HR-related matters.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training activities.
- Evaluate and analyze HR data and metrics.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders.
