  1. Develop and implement quality and safety initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe and effective healthcare services to patients.
  2. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the medical group, ensuring that all staff members are following established protocols and procedures.
  3. Monitor and analyze data related to quality and safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address any issues.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to quality and safety, including but not limited to HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS.
  6. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with policies and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  7. Develop and implement staff training programs to promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
  8. Serve as a liaison between the medical group and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration on quality and safety initiatives.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to quality and safety in healthcare.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of quality and safety professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
  11. Participate in meetings and committees related to quality and safety, providing updates and recommendations to leadership.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address any concerns or inquiries related to quality and safety.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and community organizations, to promote quality and safety initiatives.
  14. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a positive work environment and fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of MercyOne and represent the organization in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Management, With A Focus On Quality And Safety.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Quality Improvement Processes In Healthcare.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multiple Departments And Stakeholders.
