Computer Vision Engineer

We are looking for a passionate Computer Vision Engineer to join our team at Meta Platforms. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and integrating computer vision technologies into our products. This includes developing algorithms, models and software for object detection, tracking, recognition, and understanding of images and videos.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. In addition, you should have experience in computer vision, image processing, machine learning, and deep learning. You should also have experience in using libraries such as OpenCV, MATLAB, and TensorFlow. You should have excellent programming skills, particularly in C++, Python, and Java.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about developing computer vision technologies and furthering the capabilities of our products. They should have a strong desire to innovate and develop creative solutions to challenging problems. Above all, this person should have a strong commitment to excellence and a drive to succeed.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop algorithms, models, and software for object detection, tracking, recognition, and understanding of images and videos.
2. Use libraries such as OpenCV, MATLAB, and TensorFlow.
3. Create computer vision technologies and integrate them into products.
4. Develop programs in C++, Python, and Java.
5. Research and innovate new and creative solutions to challenging problems.
6. Collaborate with other teams in the organization to ensure successful implementation of computer vision technologies.
7. Monitor the performance of computer vision technologies and software.
8. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in computer vision.
9. Troubleshoot and debug any technical issues related to computer vision technologies.
10. Document all processes and procedures related to computer vision technologies.
