Job Description

  1. Lead and manage a team of investigators to ensure timely and thorough investigations into employee relations matters.
  2. Uphold and promote a workplace culture of diversity, inclusivity, and integrity.
  3. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to employee relations investigations.
  4. Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations to ensure investigations are conducted in compliance with legal requirements.
  5. Collaborate with HR and legal teams to determine appropriate actions and resolutions for investigations.
  6. Conduct investigations into complex and sensitive employee relations matters with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  7. Communicate effectively with all parties involved in investigations, including employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  8. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on handling employee relations issues.
  9. Analyze data and trends from investigations to identify potential areas for improvement and make recommendations to prevent future issues.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on best practices for conducting employee relations investigations.
  11. Train and educate managers and employees on company policies and procedures related to employee relations.
  12. Ensure investigations are conducted in a fair, objective, and impartial manner.
  13. Create and maintain accurate and detailed records of investigations and related actions.
  14. Handle any escalations or complex cases that may arise during investigations.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to implement strategies and initiatives to promote a positive work environment and prevent future employee relations issues.
  16. Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the status of investigations and any trends or issues identified.
  17. Mentor and develop team members to ensure a high level of performance and growth within the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Employee Relations Investigations.

  • Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Eeo, Ada, Fmla, And Title Vii.

  • Experience Working In A Large, Global Organization, Preferably In The Insurance Or Financial Services Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With All Levels Of Employees And Management.
