Job Description

MetLife is looking for a Claims Processor who is a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for helping people. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills and is adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated and eager to help customers receive the support they need. The Claims Processor is responsible for managing the intake and processing of customer claims. The ideal candidate must be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail.To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a team setting. The ideal candidate must also have a customer-first mindset and the ability to work independently. The ability to use technology to solve customer problems is also a must.We are looking for a Claims Processor who has at least two years of experience in customer service, claims processing, and/or data entry. A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.If you have a passion for helping people and the skills we outlined above, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage intake and processing of customer claims
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure customer claims are handled in accordance with legal and policy requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain customer relations
  • Use technology to solve customer problems
  • Adhere to set standards for accuracy and timeliness when processing claims
  • Maintain up-to-date records and log information
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and review customer data for accuracy
  • Provide training and guidance to team members
  • Ensure customer claims are handled efficiently and promptly
