  1. Develop and implement global credit and equity investment strategies for MetLife Investment Management (MII).
  2. Lead and manage a team of credit and equity investment professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals and objectives.
  3. Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and other relevant factors to inform investment decisions.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams within MetLife to ensure alignment and integration of investment strategies with overall business objectives.
  5. Oversee the management of credit and equity portfolios, including risk assessment, performance evaluation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including investment managers, consultants, and clients.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and continuously seek opportunities to enhance investment strategies and processes.
  9. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to credit and equity portfolios.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams within MetLife on credit and equity investment matters.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to credit and equity investments.
  12. Mentor and coach team members to promote professional growth and development.
  13. Represent MetLife externally at industry events and conferences to promote the company's investment capabilities and reputation.
  14. Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of credit and equity investment management.

They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Company's Operations, Products, And Long-Term Objectives.

  • Advanced Degree In Finance, Economics, Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role. Additional Certifications Such As Chartered Financial Analyst (Cfa) Or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (Caia) Are Highly Desirable. The Candidate Should Also Have A Strong Academic Background And A Continuous Commitment To Professional Development And Learning.
