Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director to lead our Thought Leadership Group Benefits team at MetLife. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the strategic direction and thought leadership initiatives for our Group Benefits business. We are looking for a dynamic leader who is able to think strategically and creatively, while also providing strong guidance and mentorship to the team.   1. Develop and drive the strategic direction for the Thought Leadership Group Benefits team at MetLife.
  2. Create and execute thought leadership initiatives to support the growth and success of the Group Benefits business.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of professionals, providing strong guidance and support for their professional development.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for thought leadership in the insurance industry.
  5. Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends and insights, and use this information to inform thought leadership strategies.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry experts, to enhance the thought leadership positioning of MetLife.
  7. Represent MetLife at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to establish the company as a thought leader in the group benefits space.
  8. Monitor and measure the impact of thought leadership initiatives, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape, and use this knowledge to inform thought leadership strategies.
  10. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to effectively promote thought leadership content and initiatives.
  11. Develop and manage the budget for the Thought Leadership Group Benefits team.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  13. Encourage a culture of innovation and creativity within the team and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  14. Continuously evaluate and optimize thought leadership strategies to drive business growth and success.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for MetLife and promote the company's values and culture.
