MetLife is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Life Claims Reviewer to join our Claims team. As a Life Claims Reviewer, you will utilize your expertise to review complex life insurance claims documents and ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards and procedures. The ideal candidate has superb attention to detail and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of life insurance claims experience, a comprehensive understanding of life insurance principles, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Moreover, the candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Responsibilities:
- Review complex life insurance claims documents for accuracy and compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding of life insurance principles and practices.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency of life insurance claims.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers providing excellent customer service.
- Work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Assist in training peers on life insurance claims procedures.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex claims issues.
- Provide timely feedback to Claims team regarding claim reviews.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and changes in legislation that may affect life insurance claims.
