Job Description

MetLife is looking for a motivated and experienced Loss Control Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing our clients with advice and guidance on how to best manage their risk exposure and improve their loss control processes. To be successful in this position, you should have a strong knowledge of risk management, loss control, and safety and health principles, as well as excellent communication skills. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clients with advice and guidance on managing risk exposure and improving their loss control processes.
  2. Stay abreast of industry developments and trends in risk management, loss control, and safety and health.
  3. Develop and implement effective loss control strategies.
  4. Evaluate potential losses and develop risk mitigation plans.
  5. Monitor safety and health compliance in the workplace.
  6. Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to determine risk exposures and hazards.
  7. Prepare detailed reports on the findings of inspections and assessments.
  8. Make recommendations on ways to reduce potential losses.
  9. Communicate with clients and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  10. Work independently and as part of a team.
