- Develop and execute the packaging technology roadmap for advanced memory and storage solutions, in line with the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and scientists in the development of innovative packaging technologies.
- Identify and leverage emerging packaging technologies and trends in the industry to drive continuous improvement and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of packaging technology with product design and manufacturing processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to stay updated on industry developments and potential collaboration opportunities.
- Ensure that all packaging technology development projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Contribute to the development of new product strategies and roadmaps, taking into consideration packaging technology advancements and market trends.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in packaging technology processes, procedures, and techniques to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to senior management through regular reports and presentations.
Advanced Degree In Engineering: A Director Of Advanced Packaging Technology Development At Micron Technology Should Possess An Advanced Degree In Engineering, Such As A Masters Or Phd, With A Focus On Semiconductor Packaging.
