  1. Lead the development and implementation of new DRAM architectures and designs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies in the field of memory.
  4. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for DRAM designs and architectures.
  5. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely and accurate execution of design projects.
  6. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of current DRAM products and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitors' products to inform future design decisions.
  8. Communicate with stakeholders to present design proposals, progress updates, and results.
  9. Mentor and train junior team members on DRAM architecture and design principles.
  10. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to develop and optimize DRAM designs.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Dram Architecture And Design Principles: A Strong Understanding Of Dram Architecture And Design Principles Is Essential For A Dram Architect At Micron. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Dram Technologies, Such As Ddr, Lpddr, And Gddr, As Well As Experience With Advanced Features Like Error Correction Codes (Ecc) And Memory Controllers.

  • Experience With Cad Tools And Simulation Software: The Ability To Use Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Tools And Simulation Software Is Crucial For A Dram Architect. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry-Standard Tools Like Synopsys, Cadence, And Mentor Graphics, As Well As Proficiency In Simulation Software Such As Spice And Verilog.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Protocols: A Dram Architect At Micron Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry Standards And Protocols, Such As Jedec And Pci Express. They Should Also Be Familiar With Emerging Standards, Such As Ddr5 And Hbm, And Have Experience Designing Products That Meet These Standards.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: A Dram Architect Must Possess Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Design Issues. This Requires Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Think Critically And Creatively To Find Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities: As A Key Member Of A Cross-Functional Team, A Dram Architect Must Have Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills. This Includes The Ability To Effectively Articulate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders, As Well As Collaborate With Other Engineers And Departments To Achieve Project Goals.
