Job Description

At Micron Technology, we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Engineer – Chemical Mechanical Planarization Process to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining cost-effective processes for Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) and other related technologies.In this role, you must have a strong background in CMP process technology. You should have extensive knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, chemical/materials engineering, and process engineering. You should also possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. You should have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, have the ability to work with tight deadlines, and be able to prioritize tasks efficiently.If you are passionate about engineering and have the required qualifications, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain cost-effective processes for Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) and other related technologies.
  2. Monitor CMP process and equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  3. Troubleshoot process and equipment problems.
  4. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and equipment to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Perform process engineering calculations and simulations.
  6. Develop new CMP processes and process recipes.
  7. Create technical reports, process specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  8. Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure process accuracy and quality.
  9. Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and customers.
  10. Maintain accurate records of process data and activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment

  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemical Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering

  • Technical Experience In Chemical Mechanical Planarization (Cmp) Processes

  • Strong Understanding Of Statistical Process Control (Spc)

  • Proven Track Record In Process Optimization And Maintenance

  • Knowledge Of Semiconductor Process Development And Integration
