- Monitor and maintain gas systems to ensure safe and efficient operation at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to identify and address any potential issues or hazards.
- Troubleshoot and repair gas systems as needed to minimize downtime and maintain production levels.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to ensure long-term reliability of gas systems.
- Work closely with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal impact on operations.
- Monitor gas usage and make recommendations for cost-saving measures where appropriate.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all gas system maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new gas systems.
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Train and mentor junior gas engineers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Act as a technical resource for gas system-related inquiries and provide guidance to others.
- Continuously evaluate and suggest new technologies or methods to improve gas system performance.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to ensure smooth operation of gas systems.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain a professional and ethical work environment.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Keep abreast of advancements and developments in gas engineering and incorporate them into daily tasks.
- Participate in special projects or assignments as needed by the company.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Chemical Engineering Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Gas System Design, Installation, And Maintenance.
Proficiency In Using Gas System Design Software And Knowledge Of Gas System Codes And Regulations.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Gas System Issues.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Vendors.
