Quantum Software Engineer

Microsoft is seeking an innovative and motivated Quantum Software Engineer to join our Quantum Computing Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, as well as an understanding of quantum computing principles. You must be a self-starter with a passion for learning and an eagerness to contribute to the development of our cutting-edge quantum technology.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field and at least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering. You should have a deep understanding of quantum computing algorithms, quantum compilers, and software engineering best practices. You must have experience in programming with Python, C++, and/or Java. Experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, and Quantum Development Kit is also preferred.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this position. You must be a team player and have the ability to work with other members of the team to develop high-quality quantum computing solutions.
