Ambulatory Pharmacist

Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for an experienced and dedicated Ambulatory Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide direct patient care and support the mission of Moffitt Cancer Center. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled professional who can work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, a current Florida Pharmacist license, and at least two years of ambulatory care experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care and support the mission of Moffitt Cancer Center.
2. Monitor and evaluate patient medication regimens for appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness.
3. Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals, including ordering and stocking of medications.
4. Compound and dispense medications in accordance with established standards of practice.
5. Monitor and maintain accurate patient medical records.
6. Provide patient education and counseling on drug therapeutics.
7. Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. Participate in performance improvement activities.
9. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
10. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
