Job Description

Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for a highly skilled and customer service-oriented Help Desk Analyst to join our team. We are seeking a candidate with excellent problem-solving abilities and an in-depth understanding of technical support, who is passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of our patients.To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong aptitude for technology and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk role, a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and experience with a variety of computer hardware and software applications. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with other team members.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  3. Develop and maintain documentation of technical issues and solutions.
  4. Work closely with team members to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
  5. Monitor, maintain, and upgrade computer systems and networks.
  6. Research and recommend new technologies to effectively meet customer requests.
  7. Respond to incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
  8. Provide training and support to users on computer hardware and software applications.
  9. Manage user accounts and access rights.
  10. Maintain inventory of software and hardware.
