
Imaging Archival and Retrieval Specialist
The Imaging Archival and Retrieval Specialist position at Moffitt Cancer Center is an integral part of our team, responsible for preserving and protecting our imaging-based records. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate should have a passion for preserving and protecting patient records and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of experience in a medical record or imaging-related field. Knowledge of imaging-based record management systems is preferred. We are looking for an individual who is organized and professional, with a customer-first attitude. The Imaging Archival and Retrieval Specialist must possess strong problem-solving skills, be able to work under pressure, and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and preserve imaging-based records in a secure and organized manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Process and update patient records as needed.
- Utilize imaging-based record management systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to record management.
- Follow established protocols for record retrieval and archiving.
- Keep up to date with new and emerging technologies related to imaging-based record management.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new record management systems.
- Monitor and maintain the security and privacy of patient records.
- Handle other tasks related to imaging and record management as needed.
