Nurse Assistant

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our Cancer Care Team. The Nurse Assistant will provide excellent care to our patients and assist with day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida nursing assistant certification, and prior experience working in a nursing home or other health care setting. We are looking for someone who is reliable and has excellent communication skills. Our Nurse Assistants must also demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion for our patients and their families. Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and excellent care to patients in the Cancer Care Team
• Assist with day-to-day activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Respond quickly to patient needs and requests
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as transporting patients to appointments or administering medications
• Work collaboratively with other nurses and health care professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion for patients and their families
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
