Research Data Coordinator

The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Research Data Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data support and data analysis services to our research staff and facilitating the collection, management, integration, and analysis of data to ensure accuracy and reliability in our research projects.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Systems; a minimum of one year of experience in research data management or analysis; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of statistical software packages, database management, and data visualization is also required.We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Research Data Coordinator will be a valued member of our research team, and will contribute to the success of our research initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain data management plans for research projects.
2. Collect, manage, integrate, and analyze data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
3. Create and maintain research databases.
4. Develop and utilize data analysis procedures to determine trends and patterns in research data.
5. Utilize data visualization techniques to present research results.
6. Prepare and present research findings to relevant stakeholders.
7. Assist with the development of research protocols and research study designs.
8. Work with research staff to identify and resolve data-related issues.
9. Maintain and update data management systems and software as needed.
10. Monitor research activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols and standards.
11. Provide guidance and advice to research staff on data-related matters.
12. Work with key stakeholders to ensure data is collected, stored, and analyzed correctly.
13. Stay abreast of industry trends, developments, and best practices in research data management.
14. Participate in research-related events and professional development activities.
