Shop Cashier

Moffitt Cancer Center is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Shop Cashier to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle customer inquiries and sales transactions. Required qualifications for the Shop Cashier position include: • High school diploma or equivalent• Prior experience in a retail environment• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to use a cash register• Ability to accurately count money and make change• Must be able to stand for extended periods

Responsibilities: • Greet customers in a friendly manner and provide excellent customer service • Respond to customer inquiries and guide them to the appropriate product or service • Process customer sales transactions, accurately count money, and make change • Maintain the cash register, including opening and closing procedures • Monitor store activity and be alert to any suspicious activity • Ensure security of all cash and store items • Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and keeping the store clean • Adhere to all safety and security procedures • Other duties as assigned
