Social Worker - Inpatient

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an experienced, passionate Social Worker - Inpatient to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated, organized, and self-motivated individual to provide social work services to patients and families affected by cancer. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing a high level of care and support while ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction.The successful candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, a valid Florida State Social Work License, and a minimum of two years of experience in an inpatient setting. Professional experience with oncology patients and/or families is highly preferred. The successful candidate must also possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities: •Provide social work services to patients and families affected by cancer •Ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction •Maintain valid Florida State Social Work License •Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills •Provide compassionate, patient-centered care •Attend and participate in team meetings •Provide crisis intervention and support •Manage caseloads and maintain accurate record-keeping •Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop and implement treatment plans •Provide education and resources to patients and families •Identify and address psychosocial issues of patients and families
