
FinOps Business Analyst
This is a key role within the High-Performance Computing Grid squad. The FinOps Business Analyst is responsible for managing the financial analysis and reporting of HPC Grid assets on-premise and on public cloud service providers, maintaining data quality, cost transparency, billing accuracy and internal cost recovery from consumer applications. Perform analyses to ensure existing on-premise and public cloud investments deliver the best possible business value. Manage vendor financial incentives (e.g. Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, credits, etc.). Define advanced cost recovery models for non-standard allocations (e.g. shared services & platforms, SaaS, etc.). Define and maintain tagging policy and monitor compliance.
3-5 years’ experience at a global financial services organization and/or high-level understanding of financial markets.
Experience and/or high-level understanding of public cloud service providers (AWS and/or Azure).
Experience in financial analysis / working with large datasets and creation of data-driven executive materials
Solid understanding of public cloud cost management mechanics
