General Counsel Investment Research

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal guidance and support to the Investment Research team, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
2. Remain up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations to ensure the team is in compliance.
3. Understand the business objectives of the Investment Research team and provide legal advice accordingly.
4. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in order to assess risk and identify potential legal issues.
5. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and other stakeholders.
7. Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and provide updates to the team.
8. Create and deliver presentations and training sessions on relevant legal topics.
9. Provide sound judgment and strategy in legal matters.
10. Manage and resolve disputes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
