- Conduct research and experiments to develop new and improved products for Naked Juice.
- Utilize scientific knowledge and expertise to create nutritious and delicious beverage formulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product development strategies.
- Lead and manage projects to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in food science to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and analyze data to make data-driven decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and external partners to source ingredients and stay informed about industry developments.
- Manage and maintain product specifications and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues in product development and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to understand consumer trends and preferences and incorporate them into product development.
- Represent Naked Juice at industry conferences and events to showcase our products and stay informed about the latest advancements in the field.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing products to meet consumer needs and preferences.
- Adhere to company values and guidelines, including safety protocols and ethical standards.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the R&D team and across departments.
Advanced Degree In Food Science Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Food Science, Nutrition, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For A R&D Associate Principal Scientist At Naked Juice. This Advanced Education Provides A Strong Foundation In Scientific Principles And Research Methodologies That Are Necessary For This Role.
Extensive Experience In Food And Beverage Industry: Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of At Least 7-10 Years In The Food And Beverage Industry, Preferably In A Research And Development Role. This Experience Should Include A Strong Understanding Of Food And Beverage Product Development, Formulation, And Commercialization.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Regulatory Requirements: In Order To Ensure The Safety And Compliance Of Naked Juice Products, Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations And Standards, Such As Fda And Usda Guidelines. Knowledge Of Haccp Principles And Experience With Food Safety Audits Is Also Preferred.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A R&D Associate Principal Scientist, This Role Will Involve Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams In The Development Of New Products. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Set Goals, Delegate Tasks, And Deliver Results Within Established Timelines.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Abilities: Effective Communication Is Essential In This Role, As The R&D Associate Principal Scientist Will Need To Work Closely With Other Departments, Including Marketing, Operations, And Sales.
